Meet Dr. Michael Alpert
Dr. Alpert is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist based in Cambridge, MA. In addition to his clinical work, he is an Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at Beth Israel-Deaconess Medical Center, an affiliate hospital of Harvard Medical School. He has also worked as a therapist and sub-investigator on multiple Phase 2 and Phase 3 clinical trials of MDMA-Assisted Therapy for treatment of PTSD sponsored by MAPS, and he is an Educator and Consultant for the MAPS Public Benefit Corporation. Dr. Alpert received his M.D. from the Yale School of Medicine and completed his residency training in Adult Psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance, an affiliate hospital of Harvard Medical School in Cambridge, MA. Dr. Alpert also completed the one-year fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute.
